January is upon us once again, surprisingly quickly. As always, I love reflecting over the year past, closing out the experiences of the year and preparing to move into the new year with new enthusiasm, renewed confidence, fresh energy, new goals and countless rewards! What does the New Year hold in store for you? Will this be a year of spectacular changes and imperial growth, or will another year pass modeling the last year and perhaps the years before that? Take heed of your current state of living and consider making positive changes, even in the smallest form, that will certainly impact your personal growth in surprising ways for the new year!  Wishing you love, joy and tremendous growth and happiness in 2009!  ~Cheryl Van Note

Today, is the second birthday of my adorable and delightful grandson, Dillon.  Happy Birthday Dillon!!

This morning there is a beautiful fresh cover of snow softly blanketing my lawn and it reminds me of the peace that this season stirs.

What can you do this season to spread peace and harmony all around? What actions can you take to promote a personal state of happiness and joy (this is contagious!)? Perhaps you can add patience to your shopping list and a genuine smile to your daily responsibilities as you impose happiness on your holiday experience. Imagine all the ways you can instill a spirit of Good Will toward others and Personal Harmony for yourself during this wonderful season of giving.

I am planning new ways to celebrate this season so I can imprint wonderful new memories into my mental scrapbook. I plan to handcraft some of my gifts this year, I plan to give more of myself with gifts of sharing and assisting friends and family where I am able to assist. I plan to be more patient and act more consciously this season - more tuned in to the blessings that are all around me.

This season, I hope you will find wonderful ways to celebrate with new joy and meaning. Find ways to give of your time when money isn’t available. Openly convey your patience with others and watch the magic unfold!

I wish you a beautiful holiday season, the most joyous Christmas of all and a wonderful New Year to come!

Blessings to you and your families! Cheryl
