Newsletters provide a great vehicle for driving your marketing to your customer in an effective and pleasing way. Focus your energy on the type of marketing that your customer most desires and find a way to satisfy that need.

My customers indicate that they notice a difference when they skip a month or two of newsletter marketing. I would speculate that activity drops and the newsletter gives this activity a nice monthly boost. You are also involving your customer in an interactive way when you offer a Trivia quiz each month with a prize for the winner.

Don’t skimp on your marketing efforts when times are slow. If it means cutting down your marketing activity slightly then do so, but don’t cut out the important tool that keeps you in front of your customer.
