Most often, it is the little things that really brighten my day. What captures my heart and defines joy so completely? Definitely the brilliance of the early morning sun. My favorite birds perched on the tree outside my office window. The tiny red fox squirrels that jump and chase and play around my back yard. The chorus of birds outside my bedroom window that wake me each morning. The wonderful fragrant lilacs during their early spring bloom. The first flowers of spring, the gorgeous tulips and delightful daffodils. The laughter of someone I love. My cat, the perfect lap warmer. A phone call from someone I love. My list of simple joys is endless. Today take note of the many small yet meaningful experiences that shape your day and define joy in your world. Enjoy your May!
