MYOB Express: Minding Your Own Business

A few days ago, I found myself whining pitifully to my sister over my woes of the pending Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday and all the reasons I felt justified to wallow in my pain. I could list all of my pitiful excuses here, but I caught myself (hours later, but I caught myself just the same) and decided to jump back in the sandbox with the law of attraction and start practicing what I teach and what I know. 

My holiday experience is up to me! The beauty or the pain that comes from this holiday experience is based upon the attitude and emotion that I decide to contribute toward it. So, thankfully, I decided to get my brain around the truth, that I am the creator of my own experiences and that I can choose to focus on what the holiday “could” be like for me, or I can choose to focus on how I would LOVE it to be for me!  I chose the latter. Within hours, I received a warming phone call from my son, saying he is joining me Christmas Eve (it appeared other plans would interfere) and my spirit soared.

Create your own holiday magic this season, by focusing on what you want your experience to be, rather than allowing old patterns or history to interfere with this wonderful creative process that you hold in your hands!
